A. Introduction:


Our planet, Earth, has experienced a catastrophic geological event. A massive comet hit at 5:45pm wiped out all life except for 11 people and one animal there was no clean water or air the cleanest air was 200 ft above the surface and the impact caused all of the volcanos in the world to go off . Half of the earths core and gravity is now gone.


B. Problem:


There is no clean water or there is no soil and there is a lot of bad air so our shelter has to be under water!

C. Survival Plan:


We will use our knowledge of the Earth's Crust, mixtures & solutions, heat, & biology to create a survival plan to create a miniature biosphere.

Plan:


Step 1: Chose a place.


We chose to build our miniature biosphere underwater.


Step 2: Design/plan a shelter.

We planned to build our miniature biosphere underwater. We planned to use glass and rock to build a roof. The roof would not let a lot of water in. Only a little bit of water will come in to keep our plants fed and for our needs.


Step 3: Build a structure


First we, found a place to put our miniature biosphere.



Step 4: Grow food.


We would grow our food by recycling our air that we breath, and we have a cow so we can milk it daily to get milk, so we are able to have a meal of fruit and vegetables and a drink of milk daily, so this will help us survive for a while.


Step 5: Clean water.


We would make sure the water we drink is safe by boiling it to get rid of unwanted germs and do a radiation test just to be sure.

Step 6: Clean air.

We would make sure that the air is clean by making sure that we have plants in every room and to make sure we will do a CO2 test now and then


Step 7: Radiation


We will make special radiation suits in case we have to go to the surface so we won't get harmed by radiation poisoning.

Step 8: Repairs


We will make repairs by scavenging the junk on the surface,but clean it first in our special radiation suits so the junk will be good to use without getting harmed.

Step 9: Recycle

We would recycle by saving all the papers we throw out and keeping all the pop cans so we can survive for a long time. So we can make use of them without throwing them out.

Step 10: Weapons


We will make makeshift spears and throwing knifes to protect our selfs from mutants when we go to the surface

Step 11: Energy


we will make power by hooking up our gym with wires and we also have a underwater water wheel powered by what else but water


D. Conclusion


We would survive the disaster by making sure everything is done right everyday. The biggest challenge will be to try to survive until the earth grows everything back.
